4 cups rolled oats or oatmeal
2 cups puffed cereal
6 Tbsp dark brown sugar
6 Tbsp syrup (see notes)
1 Tbsp vanilla (optional)
1/4 cup oil
3/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp cinnamon (optional)
2 cups dried fruit (raisins) (optional)


Mix oats, puffed cereal and brown sugar in a bowl. Mix in syrup, oil, salt, vanilla and cinnamon.

Bake at 250F for an hour and fifteen minutes, stirring a few times so it browns evenly.

After taking it out of the oven add the dried fruit. Allow to cool completely and then store in an airtight container.



"Syrup" can be maple syrup or golden syrup. I'm sure agave or rice syrup would work as well. Use whatever is safe for your allergy set.

Use a puffed cereal that is safe for your allergy set.

Gluten: Gluten is a protein found in specific grains (wheat, spelt, kamut, barley, rye). Other grains are naturally gluten-free but may have cross-contact with gluten-containing grains.
