cinnamon
canola oil
maple syrup
amaranth cereal
Pour a bunch of plain amaranth cereal on a cookie sheet.
Mix a few tablespoon of canola oil with the same amount of maple syrup and put a bunch of cinnamon in it.
Pour this over the amaranth cereal and stir it so everything is coated. Can add more cinnamon sprinkled on top.
Bake for about 10 minutes at 325 °F.
I would think you could use something like cocoa instead if you wanted or even onion powder or something for a more cracker-like thing.

I don't know if I did something wrong but this turned out awful. Couldn't even eat it. It was falling apart in some spots and way to hard in others. I probably did something wrong since this recipe doesn't have measurements.
Sorry it didn't work well. I've always stirred my granola during baking. It sounds like things cooked unevenly. Stirring partway through might help with that if you decide to try it again.
