1 lb beef (ground or small chunks)
sea salt
1 clove garlic
6 large (2 inch diameter) mushrooms, including large stems
2-3 Tbsp cornstarch

Run garlic through food processor. Add beef, and enough water to make the texture soft. Add cornstarch. Remove from food processor.

Liquefy mushrooms with water, mix together with meat.

Use a regular teaspoon to make oval meatballs.

Steam each batch for about 7 minutes.

This really has to be done to taste, but you can steam one and try it, then adjust before steaming next batch.

Corn Substitutions: Corn is a common ingredient in products. Starch, modified food starch, dextrin and maltodextrin can be from corn. Consult with your physician to find out which corn derivatives you need to avoid. Many corn-free options are available in the US. Find out more about corn substitutions.
