I want to make potato pancakes for Hanukkah. Grandson can't have eggs. Eggs hold the potato mixture together, so what is your suggestion?
Rosemary
Rosemary - we have a great recipe for egg-free latkes - http://www.kidswithfoodallergies.org/page/recipe-page.aspx?recid=1635&name=Latkes
My son has to be gluten free, egg free, dairy free, yeast free, cashew free!
What to eat then!
Please help!
Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth - gluten, dairy, egg and yeast free may seem overwhelming, but there are lots of options! I recommend joining our online discussion forums and posting in the Food & Cooking forum - https://community.kidswithfoodallergies.org/forum/food_and_cooking You will need to register to post/reply, but membership is free.
One thing that can help is focusing on what your son CAN eat - make a list of foods and then think of all the different options you can do with those. If there is a specific dish you are trying to replace, post that as a question on our forum linked above.
