Cranberry Sauce

Your photo should meet the following requirements:

Ingredients

1 lb cranberries
1 cup sugar
1/2 orange, chopped
1 cup water

Directions

Combine ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Stir frequently

While cooking, you can "pop" the berries by mashing them against the side of the saucepan with the back of a wooden spoon.

Allow mixture to cool slightly. Process through a food mill to remove the orange peels. If you prefer an even smoother sauce, press through a fine mesh sieve.

Chill before serving.

Notes

This can be made several days ahead of time and kept in the fridge. The longer it sets, the more it will gel.
