Sunflower and Chocolate Cookie Cocowhip Shooters

 

 Ingredients  
1 9 oz container So Delicious® Dairy Free CocoWhip Original (or Lite) Coconut Milk Frozen Dessert Topping, thawed
1/4 cup sunflower seed butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup mini vegan chocolate chips
1 box soft chocolate brownie cookies - vegan, soy, nut and gluten-free
12 squares chocolate, for topping (optional)


 Directions  
Mix together the thawed dessert topping, sunflower seed butter and powdered sugar. Add mini chocolate chips.

Place one soft baked cookie to the bottom of the shooter cup (or small clear cup).

Spoon a layer of the dessert topping mixture, then add another cookie.

Top with one more layer of the dessert topping mixture and then add a small chocolate square for decoration. Keep in fridge until serving. Enjoy!


 Notes  
A delicious, kid friendly, easy to make dessert that everyone can enjoy!


 Substitutions  
I used Enjoy Life Foods mini chocolate chips, Enjoy Life Foods Double Chocolate Brownie Soft Baked Cookies, and Pascha chocolate squares.

Milk and Soy Substitutions: Alternative dairy-free milk beverages and products will work in most recipes. Find out more about milk substitutions and soy substitutions.

Coconut: Although classified by the FDA as a tree nut, coconut is not a common allergen and is not related to tree nuts. If you have a tree nut allergy, consult your physician to find out if you need to avoid coconut.

Butter and Margarine: Butter is a dairy product made from cow’s milk. Margarine typically contains milk or soy, but there are milk-free and soy-free versions available.

Peanut Substitutions: There are many peanut-free products available in the US. Find out more about peanut substitutions.

Corn Substitutions: Corn is a common ingredient in products. Starch, modified food starch, dextrin and maltodextrin can be from corn. Consult with your physician to find out which corn derivatives you need to avoid. Many corn-free options are available in the US. Find out more about corn substitutions.

Gluten: Gluten is a protein found in specific grains (wheat, spelt, kamut, barley, rye). Other grains are naturally gluten-free but may have cross-contact with gluten-containing grains.
