 Recipe Information
Category: Snacks
# of Servings: 12 Bars
Recipe Entered By: AmyH
Recipe Created By: Dayna Hamp

1/4  cup  nut butter
1/2  cup  brown rice syrup
4  cups  crispy rice cereal

Combine first two ingredients. If mixture seems to stiff to stir, heat it gently in a double boiler.

Stir into rice cereal and press into 8" square pan. (You may need to oil your hands.)

Chill for at least an hour, then cut into 12 bars.
Wrap individually and freeze or store in fridge.

You can use corn syrup or other liquid sweeteners in place of rice syrup.

It is generally recommended that most peanut allergics also avoid tree nuts due to cross contamination issues. If avoiding peanut and/or other nuts, be sure to find a non-cross contaminated nut or seed butter. Sunbutter or Pea butter should work in this recipe if avoiding both peanuts and tree nuts.

Use gluten, soy, and corn free crispy rice cereal as needed.

 This recipe is free of:
