Carrot Cracker Snacks

1   cup  flour
2   Tbsp  brown sugar
1/2  tsp  baking powder
1/2  tsp  salt
3 1/2  oz   jar of carrot baby food
2  Tbsp  canola oil

Pre-heat oven to 400F. Combine all ingredients and mix/knead for 5 minutes.

Roll out dough on a cookie sheet with a rolling pin 1/4 inch thick. Cut into squares or thin rectangles. Bake in 400F oven for 15 minutes.


If using gluten free flour use an appropriate amount of xantham gum.

Other safe baby food purees can be substituted for the carrot baby food.

If avoiding corn, use corn free baking powder and brown sugar. Also verify that there is no added corn derived acids/preservatives in the jarred baby food. Many brands of jarred baby food also have issues w/ cross contamination.
