Planning for growth |
|
|
Kids With Food Allergies continues to grow and thrive! Our board of directors met this past month to plan out our objectives for the next year in terms of how we are
organized and staffed and in terms of what kinds of programs to offer our members.
Organizationally we're still very much laying an infrastructure to allow us to grow to meet the needs of the thousands who come to our Web site each month. Our primary objective is to build an operations team this year while we continue
to expand educational and support offerings to our members and visitors. We'll tell you more about plans later this year as we firm them up.
We are still looking to fill some key volunteer positions as we grow to become a fully functioning organization, including volunteers willing to help us with fundraising. We will have more information about that later this year as
well.
In the mean time, know that we are working hard to keep things running as smoothly as possible while our volunteer staff are helping out with KFA when they can steal away time from raising children, caring for the house, being employed,
spending hours shopping and preparing allergy-safe meals ? you get the idea! We are so thankful for everyone's contributions large and small. Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization and we value them tremendously.
