Allergy-Free Dessert Recipe: Gingerbread House Frosting
An egg-free, milk-free recipe to help you make an allergy-safe gingerbread house or cookies.

  • Ingredients  
  • 1  cup  powdered sugar
    1  Tbsp  shortening
    3  Tbsp  cream of tartar
    1 1/2  Tbsp  xanthan gum
        water (add slowly!)
  • Instructions
  • Mix all in the food processor until desired thickness is reached.
  • Comments  
  • This is the frosting to hold the candies on the gingerbread house together.
  • Substitutions  
  • Use dairy, egg, soy, corn, wheat and/or gluten free ingredients as needed.
     This recipe is free of:
     Milk  Peanut  Egg  Soy  Tree nut  Corn
     Gluten  Wheat  Fish  Shellfish  Sesame
