We've had a few parents write to us about not being able to afford the cost of a Family Membership. We know the economy is affecting many families and stretching finances to the limit.
We do offer fee waivers through our Sponsored Family Membership program.
Applying is easy - first, make sure you are registered with a KFA username (free), then fill out this form, and we will process your request promptly.
We're very thankful for the generosity of our donors who enable us to provide these memberships to those who can't afford them. This is a great example of our community working together to connect and support families everywhere. If you'd like to support our Sponsored Family Membership program, donations are always welcome.
Many thanks,
Lynda Mitchell —
KFA President

Study Finds Peanut Allergic Children Can React to Lupine-Enriched Pasta
Lupine is a legume that cross-reacts with peanut at a high rate and should be avoided by peanut allergic patients. It does not fall under the labeling requirements of FALCPA. Lupine (lupinus albus) can be found in seed or flour form. This is yet another study that shows those with peanut allergy need to read labels for lupine ingredients.
