Allergy Testing Before Introducing Foods DID YOU KNOW?
There is not enough evidence to recommend routine food allergy testing before introducing highly allergenic foods (such as milk, egg, and peanut) to children who are at a high risk of reacting to these foods. Children at high risk are those who already have severe allergic disease or a family history of food allergy.

Man with Nut Allergy Sues Restaurant After Anaphylaxis (Canada)
A Saskatchewan waitress and the restaurant where she worked have been ordered to pay $25,000 after a man with a nut allergy ate cheesecake and suffered a severe allergic reaction. The judge said the waitress breeched her duty of care by not checking to see if the cheesecake contained nuts when she was asked by the customer.

Severe Food Allergy Reaction Yesterday and the Lesson Learned
"I purchased fruit yesterday at a local farmer's stand where I have purchased fruit for years. I usually bring my own plastic containers for the berries, but they also provide clean, unused boxes for pints of berries. Yesterday, they placed the pints of berries on a black box that was obviously being reused."
